TrustVault ™

In 2025, Chuck launched TrustVault™, a platform designed to help professionals prove they’re trustworthy—not just in what they say, but in what they’ve done. Built on decades of experience protecting and verifying trust, TrustVault™ is more than a credential—it’s a movement to raise the bar, restore confidence, and redefine what it means to be trusted.

TrustVault™ is a trust certification and personal branding platform that helps individuals stand out by proving they are credible, reliable, and trustworthy. Through a professional background investigation—modeled after the federal government’s clearance process—members earn a verified trust credential they control. This credential becomes a powerful personal brand asset that can be displayed on LinkedIn, resumes, and job applications. Members can securely share parts of their verified background investigation with employers, clients, or partners, opening new opportunities built on trust. TrustVault™ also connects members to a trusted network of like-minded professionals and businesses that value integrity and accountability.

Chuck McKee has spent more than 30 years at the intersection of finance, investigation, and trust. For two decades, he served as a Special Agent with the FBI, based out of the Atlanta Field Office in Augusta, Georgia. In that role, he led investigations into public corruption, civil rights violations, identity theft, and financial crimes. His caseload also included mortgage fraud, white-collar fraud, human trafficking, bank robberies, and counterintelligence.

During his FBI career, Chuck served on the Financial Crimes Response Team and led the Evidence Response Team. He also helped launch the FBI Atlanta Leadership Development Council, driven by his belief that leadership matters—especially in high-stakes environments.

Before joining the Bureau, Chuck spent ten years in corporate accounting. He worked as a fractional CFO for small to mid-sized businesses and held finance roles in both public and private companies. That experience gave him a deep understanding of financial systems and informed his investigative work throughout his FBI tenure.

Chuck holds an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from NC State. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). He continues to hold a Top-Secret Clearance and currently works as a credentialed federal background investigator, as well as a licensed private investigator in both Georgia and South Carolina.
